    Travel Options to Dahab

Whether you’re coming from Cairo by bus or flying from abroad, there’s an easy way to get to Dahab. Read on for up to date options for travelling to Red C Villas.

Go Bus to Dahab from Cairo:

A deluxe bus service is now running between Cairo and Dahab. The buses have comfy reclining seats, A/C and TV. The Go Bus Station in Cairo is very near the Egyptian Museum, which houses over 100,000 ancient Egyptian artefacts including Tutankhamun’s gold mask. The Museum is free except for the mummy room.

The Go Bus station in Dahab is centrally located near the bridge in Masbat Bay. Red C Villas is just a short distance away. It is pretty easy to grab a taxi during the day, but if you are arriving at night we can organise one to meet you.

Tickets can be brought at the station or online. The site is in English and Arabic. Once you have created a login, you can choose your seat and pay online. There are four buses that run each day and the prices are reasonable. The trip takes between 7 to 9 hours.

Direct Flights to Sharm from Europe:

We have seen an increased numbers of visitors to Dahab in the last few months as more options for direct flights to Sharm el Shiekh have become available.

TUI fly from Brussels (BRU) and can be booked for €330 return. They fly on Tuesdays, Saturdays and Sundays.

Germania fly from Munich (MUN) on Mondays.

Meridiana fly from Milan (MXP) Outward: Thursdays & Sundays. Return: Thursdays & Mondays.

Indirect Flights to Sharm from the UK:

Egypt Air fly from Heathrow (LHR) via Cairo. Though pricey, the layover is only a little over an hour and flights run every day.

If you are flying from Europe to Sharm with a connection in Cairo, you will enter Sharm airport terminal on the domestic side. Your bags won’t be on the domestic baggage carousel. You will see other passenger waiting by a glass door that connects the domestic and international sections of the terminal. When the international baggage carousel starts up, the airport guys will open the door so you can go through and pick up your bags.

Pegasus fly from Stanstead (STN) Via Istanbul on Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays.
