Booking & Deposit

Bookings will be held provisionally for 7 days from the date of offer, during which time a deposit of 20% of the total charge must be paid to secure your booking. If you book 10 days or less before arrival date, you have 48 hours to pay your deposit.

If you cancel, your deposit is fully refundable up to 42 days before arrival. If you cancel 41 days or less before arrival the deposit will not be refunded.

Payment of balance

When you arrive we’ll give you an invoice. We’d greatly appreciate full payment from you during the first day of your stay with us.

We accept sterling, euros, US dollars and Egyptian pounds.

Please note: WE DO NOT ACCEPT CREDIT CARDS. ATMs are available in Dahab if you need to withdraw money from your account. Some ATMs in Dahab will exchange foreign currency and there are banks open from Sun-Thursday.


If you want your accommodation cleaned during your stay there is an extra charge.


Children under five years stay free of charge when using existing beds.

Baby cots are available, but please book in advance.


All accommodation is non-smoking. If you want to smoke, please do so on the balconies, patios and round the pool. An extra cleaning charge will be applied if you smoke in your accommodation

The pool

Children MUST be accompanied by an adult at all times. Please note our studios are right next to the pool. Please drink from plastic glasses and cans round the pool and if you break a glass round the pool, tell us. As a kindness to other guests please don’t play music. We reserve the right to close the pool after 10pm. There is no lifeguard, so stay safe.

The sauna

Please read our rules posted at the entrance to the sauna carefully. Divers please pay special attention, as sauna use may predispose you to DCS. Please ask management if you wish to use the sauna after 8:00 pm.

Outside guests

Red C Villas is a small, intimate compound. Bringing outside guests can have an adverse effect on other guests and the general atmosphere if care is not taken. One or two guests is fine, but if you want to bring more please ask management first.

Safety and security

Please look after your valuables and use the safe in your accommodation. If you need to make a police report to help with holiday insurance claims please let us know. We advise that you use only our trusted taxi drivers.

…and finally, our toilet policy

Due to Dahab’s sewage system, please don’t put loo paper in the toilet but instead use the bin provided. Or bring quick dissolve loo paper with you. This is unavailable in Egypt. Search online for suppliers.
